My organization is not very big, how can we pull off an event based fundraiser?
With KDS and a small (yet dedicated) core of people, even the smallest of groups can raise the money they need, and have a great time doing it!
We already hold a silent auction, why should we switch to a live auction?
Over the last eight years we have raised significantly more money (generally 30% more) with the same items by simply switching groups from silent to live auction items. Just take a look at our testimonials. One group's revenue jumped 300% by switching to a live auction. At the same time, KDS will make the evening fun and lively with our professional yet playful auction style.
Does KDS provide only auction based fundraiser services?
No, with clients as big as the 1964 World Champion Cleveland Browns to as small as the nursery school down the block, we provide a full range of fundraising, event planning and consultative services tailored to your specific needs. We believe your event should be "turn-key" not "cookie-cutter".
When is a good time to start planning for our next fundraiser?
Today! It is best to start planning at least 90 to 120 days out from the date you select for your event. We do have many events that book us over a year in advance to ensure they get their "first-choice" availability date.
Does KDS provide the items to be auctioned?
As with all aspects of our services, we can customize our programs to fit the needs of your group. We can help your group identify sources of gifts and donations as well as design an auction with items ranging from sports collectibles, once in a life time experiences, artwork, etc. We then help you package these items to maximize their value and appeal.
How much money can we raise?
The better question is; "how much money do you need to raise?" Share your goals with us and we will design a program around the needs and preferences of your group. We will accomplish this with our goal at heart, to exceed your expectations.
Do I need a licensed auctioneer to hold an auction?
In most states yes and if you are paying (sharing the revenue) for your event with an outside company you should insist on a licensed professional. Contact your local authorities and ask questions to protect yourself and your group from potential liability later on. |
